What is Decide RI?
A platform to enhance community input
DecideRI is Rhode Island's digital tool to support Participatory Budgeting. It is being piloted by two Health Equity Zones - Central Providence Opportunities and Pawtucket/Central Falls, with support from the Health Systems Transformation Project.
On this site, residents can
share their ideas about how to spend public funds, endorse and comment on other's ideas, help develop project proposals, and vote on what to fund.
A collaborative project
Decide RI is built using the DECIDIM platform, which is based on open-source code. Any resident can see how it is built, reuse it, or improve it. Check out the code on GitHub here.
